Founding designer, Dana Betterly, grew up fascinated with plants, being outdoors, and caring for the environment. In 2011, she earned her BA in Environmental Studies at San Francisco State University with a concentration in the Urban Environment. Since, she has continued her education by earning a certificate in Permaculture Design Principles with the Urban Permaculture Institute and taking classes in 2016 at City College.
